Dr. Elena Vasquez

Dr. Elena Vasquez is a physician and public health specialist with extensive experience designing and evaluating community health interventions at both institutional and national-policy levels.

Formerly with WHO's Regional Office for the Eastern Mediterranean, Dr. Vasquez led technical advisory work on chronic disease prevention and non-communicable disease policy across the GCC and North Africa. She joined HOW Academy's faculty in 2022.

Her current focus is on creating educational frameworks that bridge individual clinical practice and population-level health outcomes — particularly for mental health, women's health, and metabolic disease.
